He was faithful then and faithful still. “I Know God Is Good” tells of His steadfast goodness. This groovy tune reminds us of the simple blessings in life and that God is good through it all. “There’s A Medicine For That” is a tender, mid-tempo song that looks to God who is the Healer. His Healing Hand is there for you. There is a name above addiction, grief, sickness and whatever else you may face. “Time To Let Go And Let God” is another groovy tune that encourages listeners to give your burdens to the Lord. Give Him complete control of your life. “Now Lazarus Can Sing” tells of Lazarus’ resurrection and the transforming power of Jesus. “You Better Go Read It” is a fun groove that simply says: Go read God’s Word. It’s the roadmap to life. “You Can Know That You Know” reminds us that God walks with you through it all. The title track simply says: our blessings come from God. Our Creator cares for us and shows us His Love everyday. This stellar album closes with a powerful anthem “I’m Gonna Do What I Said I’d Do,” which simply says: Talk is cheap these days. FINAL THOUGHTS:
Mark Bishop is an incredible songwriter and communicator. This album once again showcases this God given ability. Highlights include: “Time To Let Go And Let God,” “I Know God Is Good,” “Over And Over Again,” and “I’m Gonna Do What I Said I’d Do.”
