Powerhouse vocal duo Jim and Melissa Brady pay tribute to a beloved hero of Southern Gospel music with their latest project. A Musical Tribute To A Hero: The Songs of Squire Parsons honors the rich legacy of the late Squire Parsons, who went on to Glory this past May. A talented soloist, former member of the Kingsmen (among others) and a prolific songwriter, Squire Parsons made a lasting impact on this incredible genre. This special recording features twelve of his most beloved songs of hope and faith. Melissa Brady shines on the classic “Look For Me At Jesus’s Feet,” the tender “Jesus Put My Life Back Together Again.” Jim Brady takes the lead on “I’m No Giving Up” (made popular by Gold City), the groovy “Who’s Gonna Stand In The Gap,” the beautifully contemplative “I Call It Home.” Melissa and Jim trade off on the verses of Squire Parsons’ signature song “Sweet Beulah Land.” Parsons is powerfully featured on the last verse and chorus.
