BREAKDOWN:

Celebrating 20 years in Southern Gospel Music, The LeFevre Quartet are here to stay with their new recording. This exciting project not only marks this impressive milestone, it also their testimony. God has been faithful in the lives of each member and has truly blessed this talented quartet. Here To Stay features nine incredible songs of hope and inspiration. Featuring the vocals of group founder Mike LeFevre (Baritone), his son and longtime member Jordan LeFevre (Lead), tenor Jonathan Price, and bass singer Daniel Ashmore. Price joined the group in 2023 when the group returned from a brief retirement. Daniel Asmore, who previously sang bass with Old Paths/Anthem Edition, joined in October 2024.

The catchy and groovy “Troubled” featuring co-writer Joseph Habedank kicks off this special project. This fun song simply says: Put all of your faith in Christ. Let not your heart be troubled. In the midst of your trials, remember that God has it under control. “Every Hallelujah” is a beautiful ballad of praise to Christ. This incredible song was previously recorded and featured on the 2015 album of the same name by Canton Junction. Jonathan Price takes the lead on the beautiful mid-tempo song “You Are Set Free.” This incredible song tells of Jesus’ freeing us of the pain and bondage of our sin. You are free to rejoice in the wonderful healing for by faith you believed! You are set free! “Whatever Hallelujah” is a fun, bouncy tune featuring Jordan LeFevre and simply says: Do not be ashamed to praise God! Send up whatever Hallelujah you may bring! Mike LeFevre takes the lead on the tender, yet powerful ballad “Someday I Gonna Bow.” This song looks forward to the day when we will be in the presence of God for eternity. Daniel Ashmore’s smooth bass vocals are featured on the groovy, Country style “Digging Up Graves,” which says: My past is in the past. It does not have a hold on me anymore. I’m not digging up those graves! Ashmore continues to impress with his incredible bass voice. He is one of the best on the road today in my humble opinion. “Good Riddance” is a great mid-tempo tune that once again features Jordan LeFevre. This powerful song simply says: All my sins have been forgiven! My shame is cast away! Good riddance! The group puts their own spin on the quartet classic “When My Feet Touch The Streets Of Gold” that is already a hit in the concert setting. This incredible album closes with the powerful anthem “Praise The Risen Lamb,” which lifts praise to the King of Kings! Forever we will sing praise to Him!

FINAL THOUGHTS:

THE LEFEVRE QUARTET IS BACK WITH YET ANOTHER STELLAR RECORDING! INCREDIBLE SONGS, TOP NOTCH VOCALS, AND STELLAR MUSICIANSHIP! DANIEL ASHMORE HAS BEEN A FANTASTIC ADDITION TO THIS TALENTED QUARTET. HIGHLIGHTS: “DIGGING UP GRAVES,” “PRAISE THE RISEN LAMB,” “YOU ARE SET FREE,” “TROUBLED,” AND “WHEN MY FEET TOUCH THE STREETS OF GOLD.”
