BREAKDOWN:

Founded in 2012, Exodus is an exciting, spirit-filled trio that is stepping into a new chapter in their ministry. Hailing from Gadsden, Alabama, this powerhouse group started in their home church and originally featured Susan Brady, Mary Scott, and the late Mike Watson. Later, Watson’s son Cole (who now sings lead for The Kingsmen) joined the group. Now, the group consists of Susan Brady, her daughter Hannah Brady Townsend, and Mary Scott. This stellar new project entitled Remember The Blood features six exciting new songs that are sure to be a blessing to all who listen.

This EP opens with the mid-tempo anthem “Blood Bought Child Of The King.” This powerful song boldly proclaims that we are blood bought children of the King! We will serve no other. Mary Scott takes the lead on the groovy “All Is Well.” This fun tune simply says: God saved my soul, now all is well! He pulled me out of sin and set my feet on the right path! I am a living testimony of a sinner now free! Susan Brady is featured on “It’s Not About Me,” a beautiful ballad that encourages listeners to be light for Christ in this world. It’s not about me. Love others and help them to know Him. The more I look at Jesus, the more I see it’s not about me. Mary Scott shines on the title track that powerfully tells of Christ’s Sacrifice. Remember the Blood He gave us! It is too wonderful to forget. “I’ve Heard Enough To Know,” featuring Hannah Brady Townsend, is a fun, up-tempo tune about becoming a believer and the Joy it brings. Mary Scott takes the lead once again on the powerful “The King Did This For Me.” This incredible ballad praises Christ for His Ultimate Sacrifice. He came down to Earth, suffered and died to give us Eternal Life. He loved us so much and died to prove it! He did all of this for me!

FINAL THOUGHTS:

ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT HAVING THIS PLATFORM IS FINDING “NEW” ARTISTS. EXODUS IS A FANTASTIC NEW ADDITION TO MY MUSIC LIBRARY. THIS ALBUM FEATURES STELLAR VOCALS, POWERFUL SONGS, AND TOP NOTCH PRODUCTION QUALITY.
